Establishing common themes, the text describes a statistical basis for each test with a discussion of when to use the test, the models involved, basic assumptions that can be made, and other related tests. Each example includes data characteristics and demonstrates the interpretation of results. The authors devote an entire chapter to different types of design, from simple to complex designs such as Nested and factorial designs. With exercises in each chapter, the book also provides explanations of all code covered in the book.
