This work describes morphological characteristics used to identify species of botanicals, specifically those that can be observed with a hand lens or dissecting microscope. The first portion of the work provides a review of basic plant structure, practical advice on identification, and an introduction to botanical nomenclature. The second portion of the work provides information on individual species, organized alphabetically.
