Biography

Mark Ross is the author of Dangerous Beauty, a biologist, a photographer, a bush pilot and a safari guide based in Kenya, where he has spent more than twenty years. His original essay, "The Last Safari," was included in The Best American Travel Writing 2000, edited by Bill Bryson. He is on the lecture circuit with a variety of zoos, as well as National Geographic, in the U.S.
