About this book

Comprising most of the southern tip of the continent of South America, Patagonia is one of the world's last true wildernesses. It is so empty, so vast, that no-one could hope to see it all. Yet it is home to some of the most untouched, stark and spectacular landscapes on the planet, as well as a diverse range of wildlife and habitats.

This unique book is the product of a collaboration between two of Argentina's premier artistic forces - writer Tomas Eloy Martinez and photographer Marcos Zimmerman. They have distilled the essence of this magical landscape with stunning photography and lucid text that serves as an unrivalled record of this harsh but beautiful environment.
