About this book

Language: German

Covers 121 species of European ants; a general introduction to biology and ecology of ants; identification keys, bibliography. Each species account has colour photos and text description including geographical distribution, habitat, abundance, nest construction, colony types, demography, feeding, reproduction, colony founding and special aspects of biology and behaviour.
