Biography

Surendra is a science writer based in Melbourne. He has published six books and more than 700 feature articles, news reports and book reviews in Australian and international publication, including New Scientist. He has been a regular contributor to the Melbourne Age, the Melbourne Sun, the Melbourne Herald and the Adelaide Advertiser. From 1995 to 1999 he wrote a regular 'Science Talk' column for the education supplement of the Melbourne Age. He is presently working on a popular science book tentatively called The Tunguska Fireball: A New Look at an Old Mystery which will be published by Icon Books in the UK in 2005
