About this book

In Europe, many birds of prey belong to private owners or institutions such as zoos. Some of these birds are kept for hunting purposes and others for flying demonstrations. In order to keep these birds healthy, nutrition is of great value and importance. It is often difficult to find good and complete nutrition for birds of prey. Although the owners of birds of prey know that nutrition is important, very often they do not have any basic knowledge necessary for keeping the birds in a good condition or their nutritional knowledge should be improved. This book is intended to remedy this lack of detailed information.

Customer Reviews:

Small but very high quality and density of information
by Vallachy in Netherlands
It is a small size book but contains much!! useful information if you read it thoroughly. Might even be too much info for the basic keeper/falconer. In fact I've read it once and now use it as a reference book...
