About this product

This invertebrate colonisation sampler kit is designed for sampling invertebrates in static or slow-flowing waters. This is accomplished by placing the sampler in an aquatic environment for a designated period of time and then, upon its removal, studying the species which have colonised it.

These samplers are constructed from white polypropylene pall rings and 1mm white polyester netting.  They are supplied as separate components with detailed instructions and all the parts needed to construct the sampler.

When deploying colonisation samplers it is recommended to leave them in situ for 4 to 6 weeks for optimum colonisation. They may also be weighed down or stacked if required.
