Les Beletsky Seattle, Washington Les Beletsky is the author of Bird Songs and Bird Songs From Around the World. He is a professional bird biologist and natural history writer and editor. For more than 20 years, he has conducted ecological research on birds, concentrating on their vocalizations. Cornell Lab of Ornithology Ithaca, New York The world-renowned Cornell Lab of Ornithology is a nonprofit institution whose mission is to interpret and conserve the earth's biological diversity through research, education, and citizen science focused on birds.
