The Middle East Permian-Triassic Khuff carbonate reservoirs contain about 15-20% of world's non-associated gas reserves. Below the Khuff carbonates, the Carboniferous-Permian Al Khlata, Gharif and Unayzah clastic reservoirs contain billions of barrels of oil, gas and condensate reserves. All these reservoirs range across southern Arabia, a region of about one million square kilometres. This volume presents a comprehensive tectono-stratigraphic analysis of the formations that hold these important hydrocarbon resources.
