About this book
In 2008 a rapid biodiversity survey was carried out in Ramal de Calderas in the Venezuelan Andes to inventory species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes, and aquatic invertebrates associated with the different ecosystems of the area. The survey revealed a high diversity of species and habitats and recorded the first survey data for several taxonomic groups, including fishes and macroinvertebrates.
