Some species are associated with human habitations and known as forest, agriculture and fruit tree pest.

The present work deals with 1001 species belonging to 113 genera, 19 families, and 5 superfamilies of Psyllidomoropha in China. Of which, 393 species and 16 genera are described as new to science; 8 families and 14 subfamilies and 5 superfamilies are suggested; 166 species are newly combined, 5 species are named for replacement of junior homonyms. Male and female genitalia, the fore and hind wings and other external characters of all included species are illustrated.
