Complemented with lovely illustrations by a team of skilled artists, the book holds appeal for beginners and seasoned naturalists alike.
Cogently written sections on Galapagos history, natural history, wildlife and the conservation initiatives headed by the Galapagos National Park Service and the Charles Darwin Foundation provide a concise overview of this storied achipelago.
