About this book

This publication provides a close-up look at the internal and external structures of the honeybee. It's content is based upon a lecture 'Honeybee Anatomy' which was presented to the Spring Convention of the British Beekeepers Association in 2009. With clear colour photographs throughout it illustrates that dissection is not a difficult skill to acquire, but it does require patience and a steady hand. The techniques are fully described in HA Dade's "Anatomy and Dissection of the Honeybee".
