The guide to Cerro Jefe focuses on native plants, but as its title implies, provides only photos and omits all descriptive text apart from Latin names. This low mountain (1007 m elevation), situated a short distance from Panama City, is notable for its endemism; the guide illustrates 40 species from 23 families, 14 of which are endemic.
