About this book

In this booklet, children are encouraged to look at groups of plants living together in a habitat. Children make observations that help them to understand how and why the habitats are different, how the plants are different, which factors influence the plants that are growing there and the ways that plants and animals are dependent on each other.

There are activities in the booklet that provide opportunities for development of skills in numeracy, ICT and literacy and it includes some that are fun but at the same time reinforce pupil learning and help them to be ready to move on to the next stage.
