A collection of 64 herpetological papers from the hand of the renowned Italian herpetologist Mario Giacanto Peracca (1861-1923), who worked at the Museo Regionale di Scienze Naturali in Turin, Italy, between the end of the 19th century and the first years of the 20th. The papers contain descriptions of 22 amphibian species (14 still valid) and 52 reptiles (26 currently valid).
