This work, the first of its kind, is a comprehensive three-state inventory of the vascular plants of the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem. The 751 pages include all the plants occurring spontaneously in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. This area comprises twelve counties within Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho.
Detailed information for each of the 2082 species includes geographical abundance and habitats, distribution maps, type localities, and geographic ranges. The Introductory material includes vegetation, geology and special floristic features, and the history of botanical exploration and collecting.
