1. Révision du genre Apriona Chevrolat, 1852
A revision of Apriona genus and of one neighbourg genus: Aprionella Gilmour, 1959, is proposed. Six species are described: Apriona jakli sp. nov., A. jossoi sp. nov., A. juheli sp. nov., A.moratii sp. nov., A. minetti sp. nov., A. teocchii sp. nov. and a subspecies: A. aphetor ssp. francoltei ssp.nov.

Ten taxa are synonymized : Batocera lethauti Schmitt and Le Thuaut, 2000 = Apriona cylindrica Thomson, 1857; A. grisescens Breuning, 1947 = A. punctatissirna Kaup, 1866; A. gressitti Gilmour, 1958 = A. rugicollis Chevrolat, 1852; A. japonica Thomson, 1878 = A. rugicollis Chevrolat, 1852; A. rheinwartii Thomson, 1878 = A. flavescens Kaup, 1866; A. flavescens ssp. niansensis Gilmour, 1958 = A. flavescens Kaup, 1866; A. flavescens ssp. lomblenensis Breuning, 1982 = A. flavescens Kaup, 1866; A. bicolor Kriesche, 1919 = A. sublaevis Thomson, 1878; A. elsa Kriesche, 1919 = A. kreischei Gilmour, 1958; A. elsa Kriesche, 1919 = A. vivesi Breuning, 1981.

The genus Parapriona Breuning, 1948 and Anapriona Breuning, 1949 are synonymized with the genus Apriona, a neotypus is designed for A. swainsoni ssp. basicornis. The genus Aprionella Gilmour is transfered in the tribe of Lamiini.

2. Notes on the genera Pseudapriona Breuning, 1936, Ithocritus Lacordaire, 1872 and Ioesse Thomson, 1864, of the tribe Petrognathini
The genera Pseudapriona Breuning, 1936, Ithocritus Lacordaire, 1872 and Ioesse Thomson, 1864 are studied based on the type materials. Both Ithocritus niger Pu, 1988 and Ioesse medogensis Chiang & Chen, 1992 are synonymized with Pseudapriona flavoantennata Breuning, 1936. The genus Pseudapriona Breuning, 1936 is transferred from Batocerini to Petrognathini. Some additional descriptions, especially on the terminalia of each species are prepared, some new localities are reported.
