The second volume of the fourth issue of a series of volumes on marine crustaceans from the east Pacific includes 8 contributions on different aspects of crustaceans biology, fishery, distribution, management and ecology in the region of the east Pacific. One or several contributions are dealing with amphipods, copepods, isopods, mysids, euphausiids, stomatopods, shrimps, lobsters, anomuran and true crabs, etc. This special issue is dedicated to the late Lipke B.
