About this book

A large number of Moniliella strains are discussed, and it is concluded that the major part should be classified in a single but highly variable species, M. suaveolens (Lindner ex Lindner) v. Arx. within which two approximate varieties can be distinguished. The species M. acetoabutens Stolk & Dakin is maintained separately. Two new species are added to Trichosporonoides Haskins & Spencer. Hyalodendron Diddens is restricted to one species. A check-list of relevant specific and subspecific taxa is given.
