About this book

Language: Spanish, also available in English and French

Sanidad Animal Mundial presents a synthesis of animal health information from OIE Members as well as from non OIE Member coutnries. This publication provides a unique tool for all those involved in animal production, wildlife disease surveillance, international trade in animals and animal products and the epidemiology and control of animal diseases, including zoonoses. This edition carries over the improvements already included in the previous edition by allowing countries and territories to report their animal health status in domestic and wildlife populations separately, when relevant. This helps in improving surveillance and transparency in the notification of diseases in wild species, without putting in place unjustified trade barriers that are not complying with the provisions of the specific chapters of the OIE Terrestrial and Aquatic Animal Health Codes.
