The book also provides additional ecological, zoogeographical and conservational data to further its points. It is the first comprehensive study on the urban ecology of amphibians and reptiles in the city of Plovdiv.

Biography

Ivelin A. Mollov, PhD, is a herpetologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Ecology and Environmental Conservation at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski". The author of over 60 scientific publications on the ecology of amphibians and reptiles, his research interests also focus on the urban and feeding ecology of these species.
