Die Vegetation und Flora der Flusshäfen Mitteleuropas is based on the author's research of flora and vegetation of 62 river ports in five states of Central Europe from 1968-2008. The flora is analyzed in details (nearly 1000 species of plants), with special attention to synanthropic vegetation (describing more than 90 plant communities). The book is intended for professionals, educators and students of botany, geobotany, agriculture, geography, environmental protection, and experts in the field of water engineering.
