About this book

Language: German

Mexican goodeids are a fascinating group of fish, but, unfortunately, almost all species are now threatened in their existence and their disappearance would be a great loss for the Mexican fish fauna, and indeed for the whole world. In this book internationally renowned experts from the academic and aquarist communities have brought together their knowledge on these fish. The resulting work covers everything from morphology, distribution and conservation status, to behaviour, reproduction, and techniques for keeping these fish in aquaria, ponds and zoos.
