Dans la collection Guide de poche Rossolis, après les Oiseaux du Léman, le guide Oiseaux des Jardins propose de découvrir près de 60 espèces que chacun peut observer au fil des saisons dans son jardin. Le projet est réalisé en partenariat avec Nos Oiseaux et s'inscrit dans le cadre du 100ème anniversaire de cette association en 2013 et des nombreuses manifestations organisées à cette occasion.

La collection ambitionne de présenter un choix d'espèces les les plus courantes et de donner au lecteur des pistes concrètes pour passer de la lecture à la pratique: – conseils pour l'observation, – conseils pour aménager un jardin favorable aux oiseaux (arbres et arbustes indigènes ; espèces attirées par leurs fleurs ou leurs baies ; entretien des haies ; bandes herbeuses, ...), – construire et placer des nichoirs, – adresses utiles et sources bibliographiques pour en savoir plus.
