Biography

Trudy Friend is teacher trained – attaining her degree at Brighton College of Art. She taught up to 'A' level GCE in secondary and technical high school before teaching adults. For twelve years she and her husband, Michael Pibworth, ran art holiday courses in Devon at Smithy Art Studio. In September 2001 they moved to Tintern, Chepstow in Monmouthshire where Trudy offers private tuition, correspondence courses and an annual Easter course at a local hotel.
