This volum treats three families: Buxaceae, Lauraceae, and Theophrastaceae, for a total of 11 genera (one endemic) and 94 species. Of these 68 species, and an additional 9 subspecies, are endemic to Cuba. The treatment is based on a collection of 6500 herbarium specimens.
