About this book

This is the first published work on the complete moth fauna of the county since Hallett's Lepidoptera of Glamorgan produced for the Cardiff Naturalists' Society back in 1917. It is the culmination of fourteen years of research and concerted recording effort. The status, distribution and flight pcrioc is given for each of the 1 500 species recorded from Glamorgan based on the countv' database of over 350 000 records. The book contains over 200 distribution maps and phenology charts as well as a section on the status of the moths in the countv^. It provides a basehne for moth recording in Glamorgan and should prove usefu for anvone that wishes to know more about the moths found in this corner ot south Wales.
