This Paleontological atlas summarizes all data known to date on the stratigraphy, invertebrate fauna and spore-pollen assemblage of the three divisions of the Carboniferous of the Urals. Stratigraphy is given in accordance with the unified scheme of the Carboniferous of this region. Descriptions are compiled in correspond to scheme adopted for field atlas. In total, described more than 700 species that are characteristic mainly for the stratigraphic subdivision of the Carboniferous: foramenifers, corals, bivalves, gastropods, nautiloids, ammonoids, ostracods, bryozoans, brachiopods, crinoids and conodonts, indicated distribution of all forms in the sections of the Carboniferous of the Urals and other regions, and their implications for longline and a fractional dividing.
