About this book

Language: German

In addition to the lemurs of Madagascar, the book deals with the African and Asian Strepsirrhini (wet nose primates). The Tarsier or tarsiers are among the oldest primate ever. They are among the Haplorrhini (dry nose primates) and have a separate chapter of this book. Unfortunately, most species are threatened or endangered, because of the vast destruction of habitats for the benefit of human activities.
