About this book

The third volume of the Fibigeriana Supplement series consists of two major parts. The first part sees the establishment of a new monographic series with the name Nolini of the World. The intention of this series is to publish monographic works of genera and generic complexes of the Nolini orbis terrarum. The first item of the series is the genus Manoba Walker, 1864, discussing altogether 130 species and 11 subspecies belonging to this entirely Indo-Australian group, with the descriptions of 44 new species and 3 new subspecies. All known species are illustrated in magnified colour pictures while their genitalia are shown in black and white figures.

The second part includes 11 articles dealing with the taxonomy and biogeography of different Palaearctic and Oriental Noctuidae (s. str.) genera. These articles contain altogether four new genera, one new subgenus, 23 new species and ten new subspecies, several new statuses and new combinations.
