About this book

Language: Spanish

Flora Nativa De Valor Ornamental, Chile: Zona Cordillera de los Andes describes a large percentage of species growing in the area from the highlands of Arica to the mountains in Patagonia.

The first book deals with identification and propagation and includes species entries on trees, shrubs, cacti, flowers, orchids, sedges, grasses and rushes. Each species is identified by photographs and described in botanical terms. Notes on propagation and cultivation are given. The second book on routes and trails contains descriptions of interesting routes and trails on which these species can be observed directly in nature.
