Carron Brown is a children's nonfiction editor, writer and keen observer of the small worlds around her, from her city garden to seashore rockpools.

Alyssa Nassner is a textile designer by day and an illustrator by night. Based in Minneapolis, she studied illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
