Libellenrijk Fryslân is a unique book offering an overview of ten years of scientific research on the dragonflies of the Dutch province of Friesland. This richly illustrated work describes 64 dragonfly species, including seven new species. For each species a distribution map is included with all observation before and after 2000. After a short summary, a detailed description is offered for each species, with separate boxes listing interesting facts. Over 400 beautiful photos complete this book.

A must for every nature lover in Friesland, but equally relevant to the rest of the Netherlands, this book is full of facts and new findings on the Frisian dragonfly fauna.

Bij elke soort is een verspreidingskaart opgenomen met alle waarnemingen voor en na het jaar 2000. Na een korte karakteristiek van de soort volgt een gedetailleerde beschrijving en worden in aparte kaders diverse wetenswaardigheden vermeld.
