Red Kites were once common throughout much of Britain, even occurring in towns as scavengers. Now, they are one of Britain's rarest raptors, found only in Wales. This is an account of the attempts being made to reintroduce the Red Kite into other parts of Great Britain, in order to ensure a future for the species in this country.
