About this book

Coming in at nearly 700 pages with approximately 2000 illustrations the second edition of this book is a hugely expanded work.

The first edition of the book described 20 species from the site, this new release expands that fauna to around 70 species. This is a heavy hard bound book and is the only book like it on the market. It is a one stop reference for anyone interested in the vertebrate fauna of the Lowland Plains fauna of the Lower Permian. The book can be used not only for the Waurika fauna but covers many of the genera from the Red Beds of Texas and the Richards Spur locality (as it is now known many species present at Richards Spur also occur at Waurika).
