Landscape connectivity has frequently been used from a conservation point of view. Here the concept has been applied to a species whose abundance is a problem, the fossorial water vole and its cyclic and periodic outbreaks, on the Jura plateau. The work was part of the Graphab project modelling ecological networks using landscape graphs. The graph built here was composed of habitat patches identified as grassland. A species distribution model has been formulated for the patches, and a data set described as water vole densities derived from field surveys. A hierarchical cluster analysis on the grassland patches was expected to identify patches connected in space having a population synchrony, as well as the landscape structures interfering with the voles' spread. These groups of patches have been linked with the areas where the outbreaks begin, and others with the areas where the high densities spread, without allowing one to identify critical areas for a more effective monitoring of outbreaks. Analyses on the links between the patches have been conducted. The relationship between the kinetic synchrony and the geographical distance between two patches has been studied using Euclidean distances, and also by taking into account the landscape composition around the links. A barrier effect is mainly attributed to woodlands, which has already been proven. Le campagnol terrestre est un rongeur prairial dont les populations présentent des cycles de pullulations périodiques. La connectivité de l'habitat, concernant une espèce dont la surabondance pose problème, et les mécanismes spatiaux impliqués ont été étudiés en modélisant le paysage via la théorie des graphes, dans le cadre du projet Graphab sur l’impact de grandes infrastructures sur la connectivité des habitats. Le graphe paysager est composé de taches prairiales auxquelles des données particulières, ici une densité de rongeurs issue de prospections de terrain, ont été incorporées. Les liens entre taches sont décrits de différentes manières. Des groupes de taches connectées dans l’espace et présentant une synchronie démographique ont été identifiées, et ont pu être rattachés aux zones de démarrage et de diffusion des pullulations, sans permettre toutefois un zonage précis des communes, destiné à rendre plus efficace la surveillance des pullulations. Ce document s'adresse aussi bien aux biologistes et écologues, qu'aux géographes et chercheurs dans la modélisation de réseaux, écologiques ou dans un tout autre domaine.
