Flowers and plants have enchanted our lives since time immemorial, and many professionals, garden enthusiasts and nature lovers have encapsulated their knowledge, experiences and feelings to highlight the beauty, utility, and role of plants in furthering life on earth through numerous publications, films, and paintings. In Garden Plants: Flowers & Trees in India the authors tried to create an interest and love particularly in the young minds, the school children and the grassroot workers under varied and diverse climates in the Indian subcontinent. They hope that this illustrated work with over 700 pictures of plants and flowers will be useful.
