Fourteen expeditions to Indonesia are presented in this volume. The expeditions mainly targeted Sulawesi and Sumatra, but also Halmahera (Moluccas), West Papua (formerly Irian Yaya), and the small island of Muna. Describes 338 caves and karst sites with a total of over 109 km of mapped caves passages, including Gua Salukkan Kallang, the currently 2nd longest cave of Indonesia (12,263 m). Has detailed location maps, a synoptic list of caves/karst sites explored, and a bibliography on karst and caves of Indonesia.
