Autour d’eux, ce sont bien plus souvent des craintes, des fantasmes, des légendes, des croyances qui s’expriment, plus que des réalités naturalistes ou comportementales…

Ce livre a donc pour but premier de raconter toutes ces histoires croisées entre hommes et bêtes. Mais il espère aussi pouvoir faire la part des choses entre ces croyances et la réalité. Non pas pour démystifier, mais plutôt pour nous rapprocher de cette nature sauvage, pour passer des peurs de l’inconnu au plaisir de la connaissance partagée.
