Dr. Charis M. Galanakis is a food scientist with a PhD in Engineering from Technical University of Crete in Greece. He has served as an Editorial Board Member and Guest Editor of Food Research International since 2012. He is the coordinator of Special Interest Group 5 (Food Waste Recovery) for the ISEKI Food Association.
