The objective of this work is to facilitate the identification of vascular plants native or naturalized in Equatorial Guinea. this volume includes 197 Guinean species, which fall into 15 families, from Flagellariaceae to Typhaceae. The work follows the classification proposed by Takhtajan in 1997, in his Diversity and Classification of Flowering Plants.

El objetivo de esta obra es facilitar la identificación de las plantas vasculares autóctonas o naturalizadas de Guinea Ecuatorial. En este volumen se incluyen 197 especies guineanas que se engloban en 15 familias, desde Flagellariaceae hasta Typhaceae, siguiendo como en toda la obra la clasificación propuesta por Takhtajan en 1997, en su Diversity and Classification of Flowering Plants.
