About this book

Language: French with English summary

A flora treatment for the Hydroleaceae occurring in Central Africa is given. In this region, the family is only represented by a single species in the genus Hydrolea occurring in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It has not been recorded from Rwanda or Burundi. Bacopa alternifolia is reduced to a synonym of Hydrolea palustris. The species treatment is accompanied by a full line drawing. The family is restricted to lowland wetlands near ponds and rivers.
