About this book

Language: German with summaries in English

With this anniversary publication the German "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wanderfalkenschutz (AGW) [Working Group for Peregrine Protection]" in Baden-Württemberg celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding. For this anniversary, and especially for the hard and succesful work of the AGW employees to protect Germany's cliff breeders, this richly illustrated anniversary book has been released. In addition to personal insights into the work of the AGW, the volume contains numerous scientific articles with an emphasis on biology, population and site development, ringing and protection of peregrine falcons, as well as vegetation of rocky landscapes, and the protection of owls and Crag Martin as two other representatives of the rock-avifauna.
