About this book

Language: Danish with English, Danish, Faroese and scientific nomenclature

Færøernes Fugle: Fakta og Tal deals with a total of 312 bird species and more than 30 subspecies, which have been observed in the Faroe Islands until 31 December 2014. Species that escaped from captivity or have been introduced are included as well. It also – uniquely – covers observations going back 360 years. The authors have put great emphasis on readers quickly getting basic knowledge of each bird species and subspecies with their presence and registration in the Faroe Islands. Furthermore, for the first time in a bird book listing all registered Faroese bird species, it provides a new list of Faroese bird topography.
