About this book

Language: German

The Kurze Geschichte der Evolutionstheorien provides a historical analysis of the origin of evolutionary biology and evolutionary research. It was not an illuminating inspiration or even just Charles Darwin, which introduced the idea of evolution in the natural sciences. Rather, it was the increasing knowledge of natural things and natural phenomena that made the development of evolutionary theory absolutely necessary. However, the fact that scientific-causal explanations regarding the history of evolutionary history in the late 19th and early 20th century found no way into evolutionary biology is noteworthy. Manfred Grasshoff is co-founder of the Frankfurt theory of evolution, which was developed at the Senckenberg Research Institute in Frankfurt am Main in the second half of the 20th century., and which deals with these very issues, and considers living things as organismic structures and energy-converting structures. The fact that this – the research method reconstructing evolutionary history – has been largely ignored in the scientific community, has historical reasons. In this book, Manfred Grasshoff embarks on an exciting search for clues throughout the history of European science.
