About this product

The Spypoint Force-Dark is an impressive trail camera that can record full HD (1080p) video with sound however HD can only be recorded at 10fps, whereas at the lower resolution of 720p is a t a higher frame rate of 30fps, and 12MP images onto an internal SD card (up to 32GB). It has an adjustable detection range of 1.5m to 34m with a curved motion sensor to improve the detection angle. Once triggered this trail camera will illuminate a subject up to 27m away using 42 invisible no-glow LEDs and begin recording within 0.07s, ensuring you never miss a moment.

It features a 5.08cm (2") colour viewing screen that allows the camera’s settings and mounted position as well as any recordings it has taken to be reviewed in the field. The time between detections can be adjusted and the camera can be configured to take photos before recording a video.

This trail camera comes with a 16GB SD card and USB SD card reader included. The camera requires 8 x AA batteries (not included).

Note: Although rechargeable batteries (of at least 2500mAh) can be used with trail cameras, they are not recommended due to their lower capacity and voltage. Therefore they are unlikely to operate the camera at its full potential, or as reliably when compared with standard lithium batteries. If the use of rechargeable batteries is necessary we recommend Panasonic Eneloop Pro batteries which have been shown to perform well with trail cameras.  Additionally, we recommend using an SD card with a minimum write speed of 10MB/s (also labelled as U1 or class 10).
