About this book

This special issue of ZooKeys marks the sixth volume in a series on New World macro-moth systematics. Eight authors contributed six manuscripts for this volume, covering taxa in the Erebidae and Noctuidae. Eight new species and two new genera are described from North America, and an additional 55 taxonomic changes are proposed. Since the last update to the check list of North American Noctuoidea was published in 2013, numerous changes and corrections have occurred, all of which are summarized here.
