About this book

Language: Italian

Following the same style as other books in this series, this book is a popular essay without going into difficult questions of botany. The authors hope to achieve that interested laymen can get close to plants, flowers, and herbs, without being confounded by their scientific names. The authors have tried to highlight the differences between similar plants with comparative photos, but mostly by describing the plants that in their opinion are interesting. Well-known, useful plants, which stimulate our curiosity. Over 400 species of the rose family are easily recognizable, others belong to genera where the species differ only in small details.
